Koora Games ("we", "us", "the site") operates koora.games. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run daily-puzzle football games:

• Game state in your browser. Streaks, completed puzzles, and daily progress are saved in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device. You can clear them anytime via your browser settings.
• Server access logs. Like every web server, ours records IP address, user agent, and requested URL for each visit. Logs are kept up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention, then deleted.
• Aggregate, anonymous traffic counts. Number of daily visitors, country breakdown, and which games are played. No individual identification.

We do not ask for your name, email, or any login. There is no user account system on the public site.

2. Cookies

The site sets these categories of cookies:

• Functional — A theme preference cookie (dark/light/pitch) and language preference. No tracking.
• Admin session — Only set when an admin logs in to /admin. Public visitors never receive this cookie.
• Advertising (when active) — Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure ads. See section 4 below for opting out.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work; only theme/language preference will reset.

3. Third-party services

We embed content from these services. Each may set its own cookies governed by its own privacy policy:

• Transfermarkt CDN (tmssl.akamaized.net) — player photos.
• Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org) — club crests.
• FlagCDN (flagcdn.com) — country flags.
• Wikidata (query.wikidata.org) — public knowledge graph used to enrich player data. Server-to-server only.

4. Advertising

Koora Games is partly funded by display advertising and sportsbook affiliate partners.

• Google AdSense. Once enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to show personalised ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at google.com/settings/ads and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
• Sportsbook affiliates. Some regions may see partner banners from licensed sportsbooks. Clicking such a banner takes you to the partner's own site, where their privacy policy applies. We may receive a referral fee for accounts that register through our links.

We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers beyond what their cookies set in your browser.

5. Children

Koora Games is a general-audience football site. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California:

• Right to access — write to admin@koora.games and we will tell you what server-log data we still hold for your IP. (Logs older than 30 days are already deleted.)
• Right to delete — same email. We can purge your IP from active logs on request.
• Right to opt out of personalised ads — see section 4.

7. Data security

The site is served only over HTTPS with HSTS enabled. Server access is restricted, the database is backed up daily, and we follow standard hardening practices (rate limiting, security headers, secret rotation). We do not store payment data; affiliate partners handle their own checkouts.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
